The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge was initially described as a limited-edition concept and was not expected to see a wide release, but that's apparently about to change.

Samsung unveiled its Galaxy Note Edge alongside the Galaxy Note 4 in early September. The intriguing device was expected to see a limited release, much like the Galaxy Round curved-display smartphone last year, but a new report now claims otherwise.

Just recently, Samsung confirmed that it will be launching its Galaxy Note Edge in the U.S., and now more details have popped up regarding the device's availability across the world. According to a new report, the Galaxy Note Edge will make its way to several markets after all.

"After the launch of the Galaxy Note Edge, Samsung had made it very clear that it would be a 'limited edition concept device.' Earlier, it was being speculated that the Note Edge won't make it to Europe at all, but now it looks like Samsung will be rolling out the device in Europe, though in limited numbers," SamMobile reports. "In Europe, the device will be priced at around €899 and will go on sale through select stores. The device will be available in Denmark starting December 12 (right in time to become a really expensive Christmas gift for your loved ones.) Other countries which are bound to get the Note Edge are Germany, Netherlands, the UK, Luxembourg, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Poland, France, Nordic countries, Austria, and Portugal."

SamMobile further notes that Russia and Kazakhstan will get the Galaxy Note Edge with model number SM-N91F, Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, Luxembourg, Spain, Italy, Switzerland, Poland, France, Nordic countries, Austria, and Portugal will get model number SM-N915FY, while India, Australia, Singapore, and Nepal will get the device with model number SM915G.

In other words, Samsung will reportedly add all of these aforementioned countries to its Galaxy Note Edge itinerary. So far, however, the company has officially announced the device's launch only in the U.S., South Korea, and Japan.

If this new report from SamMobile turns out to be accurate, Samsung should offer more details regarding the Galaxy Note Edge worldwide rollout soon enough. We'll keep you up to date as soon as we learn more, but take everything with a grain of salt in the meantime.
