App Records Mobile Gaming Experience, Now Available in Samsung

Staff Reporter

Samsung just released their new app, Game Recorder+, that allows its users to record and share their mobile gaming experience.

With just a few simple steps, the users can record their online or offline gaming sessions and directly upload it on YouTube. It also offers the option for the user to add on commentary and live reactions while playing the game because of its microphone feature.

Game Recorder+ can also feature the the gamer's profile while playing. However, if the user wishes to minimize that feature, he can do so by reducing the selfie size or just clicking on the static profile picture option. So far, disabling the face feature is not possible with the new app, according to Engadget.

Game Recorder+ is an outstanding app from Samsung. There are other apps in Google Play Store that offers similar features but most of them would need the user to root the device to the app. Since Game Recorder+ is already mapped on Samsung's flagship phones, there is no need to interfere with the advanced settings of the device.

Game Recorder+ can record games downloaded from the Google Play Store and GALAXY Apps. If the game is not listed, the user can manually add the game and register them on Game Recorder+. Then, they can already record the live game using the app. However, Game Recorder+ cannot access games that have been restricted by the developers. At the same time, Game Recorder+ cannot record live sessions from apps that are not games.

Samsung's Game Recorder+ is available on major Samsung phones such as the Samsung Galaxy S6, Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge, Samsung Galaxy S5, Samsung Galaxy Note 4, Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note 3 and Galaxy Note 2.

The app has just recently been launched so there are less than 1,000 downloads in Google Play Store. So far, it has been well received by the users.
