Gionee Marathon M5 Plus Unveiled With Eco Mode And Exteme Mode For Quailty User Experience
Dheeraj RAfter many speculations, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer giant, Gionee, has finally launched its Marathon M5 Plus smartphone in India with features focusing on user experience and quality. The manufacturer has reportedly included an energy efficient Eco mode and an Extreme mode for providing the best user experience. According to the reports, these two modes are the highlights of the device with many other exceptional features.
Android Central reported that the Marathon M5 Plus consists of a 6-inch Full HD AMOLED screen with 1,080x1, 920 pixels resolution. The smartphone also features a fingerprint sensor, which has been added to provide better security for the users.
One of the main attractive features of the latest Gionee smartphone is its battery. The Marathon M5 Plus consists of a large 6,020mAh battery, which is able to provide up to 21 hours of talk time and a standby time of up to 619 hours, according to the reports from BGR.
Further, it has been reported that the smartphone features a dual charge technology, which is reported to prevent the device from overheating and also enables fast charging.
Besides, the device consists of a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front-facing snapper. The Marathon M5 Plus is also reported to provide connectivity options like 4G, LTE, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
Even though the smartphone is packed with many exceptional features, it doesn't feature the latest Android OS. The device is reported to consist of Android 5.1 Lollipop OS with the company's Amigo UI baked on top, according to Phone Radar. The smartphone is also powered by a 1.3GHz octa-core MediaTek processor with 3GB of RAM. Apart from this, the device consists of 64 GB internal storage expandable up to 128GB via a micro SD card.
Meanwhile, Tech Tree reported that according to various smartphone analysts, despite having few great features, the latest device from Gionee might be unsuccessful to get a foothold in the consumer market because of its high price and certain specs.
One of the reasons is that the Marathon M5 Plus is priced high as compared to other devices with similar features like Moto G series, Samsung devices, etc. Also, the smartphone has not been upgraded with the latest Android Marshmellow update.
The device is available in the market in two color alternatives i.e. champagne gold and polar gold. The Gionee Marathon M5 Plus smartphone is now available for Rs. 26,999 exclusively on Flipkart and in all the leading retail outlets.
