HBO accidentally leaked one important episode of "Game of Thrones" Season 6. Find out how it happened below.

According to Tech Times, the big network itself leaked the episode which originated from the "Nordic arm of the pay channel." It was also posted online before the official airdate.

As a result, many of those who witnessed the leaks have taken the opportunity to allegedly copy the episode. So far, the report claimed that the accident created high and low-quality copies from online pirates and it spread like wildfire on the Internet.

"This past Sunday's episode was made available early on the HBO Nordic platform temporarily due to a technical issue, at which time it seems to have been copied," according to an HBO spokesperson, quotes Variety. "Upon learning of the incident, we used the available means to limit further access to the episode."

This was not the first time that HBO had accidentally leaked some of "Game of Thrones" episodes. It was 2015 when the first four episodes of the medieval-fantasy series have surfaced online even before its debut.

As expected, illegal downloads were anywhere, which was allegedly sourced from different torrent sites. But amidst the latest incident, HBO is still fortunate because the leak happened only the day before the official air date.

The latest episode must have brought tears to many of the viewers eyes as Hodor's fate was revealed. He was attacked by the White Walker while trying to save Bran.

However, when he was seriously asked about his fate on the series, he explained that he can no longer drop any spoilers to the highly-acclaimed series.

But during his phone interview with IGN, actor Kristian Nairn allegedly hinted that Hodor could return, maybe as a form of Zombie? Well, the possibilities are endless. Catch more news about "Game of Thrones" Season 6 very soon.
