Kingdom Hearts 3: Will Square Enix Debut New Trailer at E3?

Rumors are circulating that Square Enix is planning to do a big Kingdom Hearts reveal at this year's E3.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is one of the most highly anticipated games for the past decade, and fans are growing increasingly agitated with the lack of updates on the game. Square Enix seems to be compensating for the absence of Kingdom Hearts 3 news with the release of the mobile game, Kingdom Hearts Unchained X in April and the announcement of the Kingdom Hearts 2 remaster later this year.

Square Enix has been completely mum about Kingdom Hearts 3 since E3 2015. Fans are speculating that the game development company is keeping the details secret until a few days before E3 2016.

Gamezone reported that a new trailer for the mainline Kingdom Hearts sequel is rumored to be in the works in preparation for this year's prestigious games expo. Fans are expecting new footage to be shown at Square Enix's E3 media presentation, and is anticipating a reveal of new Disney locations to be included in the game. Kotaku reported last year that Kingdom Hearts 3 is getting a 'Big Hero 6' stage, complete with a flying armored Baymax.

Endgadget has interviewed Kingdom Hearts director Tetsuya Nomura last year, and the director confirmed that 'Tangled' will be included in the game. "The hair of [Tangled's] Rapunzel is so unique -- we want to make sure we can realize the vision before we show it," Nomura said. Fans have also speculated about the appearance of Disney's 'Frozen', but Nomura has neither denied nor confirmed this information.

Fans are hoping that the latest Kingdom Hearts title is worth the ten-year wait. Final Fantasy XV was delayed for a long time as well, the results were satisfying. With E3 around the corner, Square Enix might be gearing for huge Kingdom Hearts news.

Are we getting a new KH trailer at E3? We will find out in a few weeks.
