There are many rumors trending on the internet these days about the probable release date of the much-awaited, iPhone 7 from the US largest smartphone company, Apple. The recent reports suggest that the upcoming smartphone device from Apple will be released next year i.e. in 2017 to mark the celebration of the flagship device's tenth anniversary.
Business Insider reported that as the Apple's first iPhone was launched back in 2007, the company is planning to launch the iPhone 7 to celebrate the occasion next year. It is also reported that Apple also wants to release the device next year in order to honor the smartphone device, which has proven to be a huge game changer for the company as well as the smartphone industry.
Further, there are reports that Apple is planning to most probably delay the release date of the iPhone 7 device to next year as the company wants to include many high-end features in it. SMH reported that the new smartphone will boast many quality upgrades as compared to its predecessors.
Forbes reported that few leaked images have emerged on the China's social networking platform, Weibo. These leaked images suggest that the new iPhone 7 will be made available in Pink Gold color with no dual-camera setup for the base device. The dual-camera functionality is expected to be visible only on high-end iPhone 7 versions like iPhone 7 Plus and iPhone 7 Pro. All these variants are reported to be different based on the price and some specs.
In addition to the latest rumors, few reports also suggest that the new device will feature all-glass casing with the chassis reinforced by a metal frame, reported IB Times. The news about the all-glass casing was reported by the CEO, Allen Horng, of Catcher Technology, which is Apple's iPhone chassis manufacturing company. It is also rumored that the all-glass casing development is also one of the reasons for the delay in the release date of iPhone 7, as the smartphone would require advanced processing technology.
Further, there are reports that the base iPhone 7 device will feature 32 GB storage option. It is reported that the 16 GB storage iPhone device idea has been scrapped by the company and all the new iPhones would feature only 32 GB ROM option.
Meanwhile, GMS Arena reported that Apple is also expecting record-breaking sales for the upcoming iPhone 7 device. It is reported that the company has ordered its manufacturers, Foxconn and Pegatron, to produce around 72 million devices to meet the expected requirements after the release of the much-awaited iPhone 7.
