Rumors surrounding "Fifty Shades Darker" always include the alleged delay of its release date because of the lead stars. It was reported recently that Jamie Dornan, who portrays the lead role Christian Grey, takes a break after filming an important scene.

Mail Online revealed that Dornan had a date night with his wife Amelia Warner on Tuesday despite his busy schedule. The couple was pictured out walking casually in the streets of Vancouver.

According to the website, the production team filmed an important scene the night before, so it is assumed that the actor just wanted to take a quick break and will be back on the set right after.

The fans of the erotic trilogy need not worry, though, because the E.L, James' film is still slated to heat up in cinemas on Feb. 10, 2017.

The release date is official amidst speculations and other hearsays. But more than that, the hype of the film continues to rise because of the alleged love affair that Dornan and his co-star, Dakota Johnson have.

The gossip ignited once again after Johnson surprised the actor on his 33rd birthday by filling up his trailer with colorful balloons, notes another Mail Online report. However, these claims were never proven aside from the fact that Dornan reveals his unconditional love for his wife.

Belfast Telegraph quoted him, saying "I was smitten from the start, I really was. I'm more in love with her today than I was at the start."

"Fifty Shades Darker" will be directed by James Foley, who will direct "Fifty Shades Freed" as well. Other actors include Bella Heathcote as Leila Williams and Kim Basinger as Mrs. Robinson/ Elena Lincoln, among others.

The movie is based on E.L. James' erotic trilogy novel, following "Fifty Shades of Grey."
