Leaked Image of New MacBook Pro Hints At Touch ID Sensor And 4 USB Type-C Ports
Dheeraj RThe recent image leak suggested that the new Apple device, MacBook Pro 2016, might include few exceptional specs and features as compared to its predecessors. The report suggested that the new laptop from Apple will consist of four USB Type-C ports with Touch Id sensor for added security measures.
IB Times reported that based on the image leaks, there are other speculations that the new MacBook Pro 2016 will also consist of an OLED touch bar placed on the keyboard. The report suggested that the OLED touchpad will enable Apple to add some custom shortcut keys. It is also stated that this touch bar will also be used to display notifications and help to replace the OS dock.
Further, previous leaked images also suggested that the new MacBook Pro 2016 laptop will consist of a 3.5 mm audio jack on the right-hand side of the device while the USB ports are rumored to be placed on the left side of the new MacBook.
Besides, Mac Rumors reported that the upcoming notebooks from Apple will also consist of a butterfly mechanism keyboard with the latest Intel Skylake processor and AMD's new 400-series Polaris graphics card. Some reports also claim that the new MacBook Pro will feature Thunder Bolt 3 specs as well.
Meanwhile, few reports also suggested that the new MacBook Pro 2016 will consist of a 13-inch screen with speakers on both the sides of the keyboard. Vine Report said that the new laptop will be thinner as compared to its predecessors. Many reports doing rounds on the internet also suggest that Apple will focus more on the software development for the upcoming MacBook Pro 2016.
Earlier, there were reports that Apple would announce the new MacBook Pro 2016 during the upcoming WWDC developer conference in June. But, BGR reported that the release date of the MacBook Pro 2016 has been slated for October 2016.
Additionally, rumors also hinted towards the possibility that Apple is planning to launch its new iPhone 7 and MacBook Pro simultaneously in the fourth quarter this year.
