Google Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update Available To Download On HTC One M8 Via OTA And Custom ROM Options

Taiwanese consumer electronics company HTC has rolled out the Android 6.0 Marshmellow update for its One M8 smartphone. The reports claim that the company has provided two ways with which the device users can actually download the Android update.

FitNHit reported that HTC has given the One M8 customers the choice to download the update to their device via OTA i.e. over-the-air or the Custom ROM. In order to download Android via OTA procedure, users will need to check their smartphones for installation prompts by HTC. The alternative is to manually install the upgrade.

On the other hand, HTC One M8 users can opt to download the Android 6.0 Marshmellow update via Custom ROMs. The Blues' Android firmware is reported to consist of a different interface with the provision of exceptional user experience.

Moreover, the Blues software is reported to sport a visually appealing interface Navbar network traffic monitor and various performance tweaks. The only caution users need to take before downloading the Custom ROM to back up all their data.

Meanwhile, Morning News USA reported that the new Android 6.0 Marshmellow update will offer HTC One M8 smartphone users with different facilities like Now on Tap, exceptional phone memory management, storage card management, Android Pay, network settings reset, Google settings, various app permissions, and smarter application linking techniques.

With all the update about the HTC One M8 smartphone, GMS Arena reported that the Android 6.0 Marshmellow will soon be rolled out on two Samsung Galaxy smartphones, the Galaxy J7, and the Galaxy A3 2016.

The new Android update for the Galaxy phones is 1.04 GB, with the facility to be downloaded manually on the above-mentioned Samsung devices.
