'Tales of Berseria': Namco Bandai Releases Fourth Trailer, Costume DLC Screenshots

Namco Bandai has recently released another trailer for its upcoming title in the popular "Tales of" franchise, "Tales of Berseria."

Uploaded on the Japanese Namco Bandai Youtube channel, The "System Introduction" trailer features the various battle mechanics in "Tales of Berseria."

The video showcased the Linear Motion Battle System that is seen in previous "Tales of" games. Called Liberation - LMBS in "Tales of Berseria." The trailer showed each of the playable characters utilizing the Liberation - LMBS.

The trailer also showed a trading card mini-game featuring some of the characters in the previous "Tales of" titles like Luke fon Fabre from "Tales of the Abyss", Lloyd Irving from "Tales of Symphonia" and Yuri Lowell from "Tales of Vesperia."

The video also showed more battle gameplay footage towards the end.

Apart from the new trailer reveal, Namco Bandai also announced that some of the game's costume DLC's are now available for download on the Japanese Playstation Store. The DLC costumes include swanky pirate costumes and some stylish Japanese-style clothing for Velvet and the gang.

A "Tales of" game will not be complete without swimsuit costumes, and Laphicet looks absolutely adorable in his swim shorts plus hoodie get up.

In "Tales of Berseria," a rare disease called Daemonblight has infected the world, causing a state of confusion.

The protagonist, Velvet, lives with her family in a remote village in the Midgand Sacred Kingdom. She had her life and her blood relatives taken away from her, and her left hand was replaced by a hand of a demon, which has the ability to eat monsters.

Three years later, Velvet seeks revenge against the person who did this to her. That person is the savior, who is currently restoring order to the world.

Tales of Berseria is due out for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3 on August 18 in Japan, and for PlayStation 4 and PC in North America and Europe in early 2017.
