The first round of NBA Draft 2016 kicked off on Thursday night with many surprises in store. The Boston Celtics got California Golden Bears' Jaylen Brown for the no. 3 draft pick this season instead of the much-rumored Philadelphia 76ers player, Nerlens Noel. This news has given way to new rumors that Noel might be headed to Phoenix Suns team for the upcoming basketball season.

NESN reported that Philadelphia 76ers might trade Nerlens to Phoenix Suns in exchange for one of their top players, Eric Bledsoe. There are reports that Eric Bledsoe would most likely be traded this season because of his desire to leave the Phoenix Suns in the first place. Eric is also reported to be pushing for a trade through his agent.

Further, few reports have claimed that even Phoenix Suns is looking to indulge in a trade for a young talented player in order to improve their team's ranking in the upcoming season. NBA reported that there are high chances of Phoenix finding their player in Noel and eventually pick him in the upcoming rounds of NBA Draft 2016 against Eric Bledsoe.

Many reports also claimed that Philadelphia 76ers also have other players to offer to Suns apart from Nerlens Noel. It is reported that 76ers have Jahlil Okafor on the trade list with no.24 and no. 26 picks. The rumors claimed that both the teams might think of swapping their players along with the draft picks this NBA season.

Moving on, earlier there were reports that Celtics were very much interested in drafting Nerlens as the no.3 pick for his great better flexibility skills along with the position-less league, claimed Sports Illustrated. However, Boston drafted Jaylen Brown for his great potential and skills, which is expected to benefit the team.

"Danny and the staff feel that Brown has significant upside," said Celtics co-owner Wyc Grousbeck, as reported CBS Sports. "He's already an accomplished player at a young age. We feel that he's got the physique and the competitive drive and the motor, the skills and, really important, the character and the intelligence. He's a very, very smart guy."

Grousbeck even went forward and commented that the other rumored available options for the Celtics no.3 draft pick like Chicago Bulls' Jimmy Butler, the Milwaukee Bucks' Khris Middleton, Jahlil Okafor, and Nerlens Noel of the Philadelphia 76ers are not even close to Brown's skills.
