The upcoming video game from Sony Interactive Media titled as Death Stranding is reported to be one of the much-awaited game series, which was recently unveiled during the E3 gaming event. The short trailer suggested that the video game will revolve around the life story of Norman Reedus-faced characters, which will be depicted as the space prisoner.

According to the game creator, Hideo Kojima, Death Stranding will introduce new tools and unique gameplay. The reports suggest that the video game would introduce rope as new fighting equipment. "Right now, looking at today's online games, you see a lot of sticks-pistols, weapons, things that are the equivalent of the first tool," said Hideo in an interview with Wired. "It's not so simple. It's a new system. It's not as if today you have online gameplay where you fight with guns, and I'm swapping them for ropes."

Furthermore, Kojima explained that the upcoming game would have a very different gameplay, which would be based more on connections and strands in psychology. He said that the video game will be more about past connections and how the lead character untangles that one by one. Twinfinite reported that the game would focus majorly on the concept about people are actually connected.

The 52-year game creator also teased the possibility that the game would have a new system, where the gamers would be given the flexibility to interact with other Death Stranding players. Hideo also said that the upcoming game would be somewhat based on the life and death concept, but with an overall different twist to the notion, reported Game Rant.

Meanwhile, few reports have emerged stating the possible theories of the Death Stranding game. Metro said that the key character of the video game played by Norman Reedus would be shown surviving a trip through a black hole. Another theory report suggests that the creator of the game might introduce the permadeath challenge in his upcoming venture.

With all the rumors about the possible gameplay of Death Stranding, there are still no reports about the release date of the video game. The only confirmed news about the game is that it will be PS4 exclusive video game.
