Although the sixth season of "Game of Thrones" is wrapping up, yet some characters are yet to make an appearance. One such character is Catelyn Stark (Michelle Fairley) aka Lady Stonehart.

So the question right now is as the fans prepare for the finale, will they be able to see a glimpse of the fan favorite character from the book?

According to TV Guide, Catelyn is resurrected when Beric Dondarrion (Richard Dormer) ends his life. Catelyn then takes up the mantle of Lady Stoneheart and becomes the head honcho of the Brotherhood Without Banners.

One of the reasons why Catelyn lives after her resurrection is her desire to avenge anyone who had a part in the Red Wedding, reported Inquisitr.

However, since Beric is alive now, Catelyn might be introduced in the show in unique way, if she makes an appearance in the finale.

Since David Benioff and D. B. Weiss have referenced Catelyn throughout season 6, thus the proposition that Catelyn will be returning in the show finale is legitimate.

Meanwhile, with just a couple of hours left for the show, it is anticipated that the finale will set stage for season 7, and might leave the viewers on a cliffhanger. It might also surprise viewers.

Prior to the premiere of Season 6, Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) answered a Two Truths and a Lie game with Yahoo.

During the chat, she stated that Ramsay (Iwan Rheon) will die, Arya will kill off three people on her list, and Lady Stoneheart will appear.

With Ramsay now dead, Arya might go on a killing spree or Lady Stonehart aka Catelyn during the finale episode.

Despite the rumors, the finale of "Game of Thrones" has not been leaked yet. However, fans do have access to the spoilers from different publications as well as speculations from experts.

The Season 6 finale of "Game of Thrones" airs Sunday night on HBO.
