'One Piece: Burning Blood': Fans Vote For Favorite Characters To Be Released Despite Poor Ratings

Bandai Namco continues to cater to the fans' preferences as they are now given the chance to see their beloved "One Piece" characters in "One Piece: Burning Blood."

The game publisher has launched a public poll, dubbed as the "Grand Fighter Vote," on its official "One Piece" game website, asking fans to vote for the next "One Piece" character that will be featured in the game.

Fans can choose between seventeen characters from the "One Piece" universe to join the "One Piece: Burning Blood" fighting roster.

The top three characters from the poll will be added to the game as additional paid DLC's.

Fans can vote between Rob Lucci, Kaku, Magellan, Caesar Clown, Arlong, Kuro, Krieg, Vergo, Cavendish, Senor Pink, Diamante, Trebol, Tashigi, Rebecca, Vivi, Monkey D. Garp and Coby.

The voting ends on July 6 at 7:59am PDT. Namco Bandai has not announced when the DLC's will be released yet. You can participate in the voting via this link.

"One Piece: Burning Blood" received mostly average reviews from critics, according to review score aggregator Metacritic.

IGN has given the "One Piece: Burning Blood" an "okay" rating of 6.5 out of 10, criticizing its short single-player campaign. The site said that the game focused too much on the "One Piece" fanbase, and does not offer anything to those who are new to the franchise.

Destructoid gave the game only 5.5 out of 10, saying that while the game features impressive anime-style graphics, the combat itself, which is the most important factor of the game, does not have enough depth to keep players engaged.

Attack of the Fanboy gave the game three stars out of five. The site echoed other critics' sentiments that the game is purely geared towards the fans, with the popular Paramount War story arc (known as the Marineford arc in Japan) recreated in the game.

The game site concluded, just like many other reviewers, that "One Piece: Burning Blood" is best left to the most hardcore "One Piece" fans.

"One Piece: Burning Blood" is available now on the Playstation 4, Playstation Vita, and Xbox One. The PC version was supposed to come out this month, but has been pushed back to Summer this year.
