Xbox One Backwards Compatibility Update: 'Fallout 3' And 'Assassin’s Creed II' Discount At Microsoft's Ultimate Game Sale

Microsoft's Xbox Ultimate Game Sale is now up on its official store with games having Xbox One backwards compatibility functionality. The technology giant has added many action-based games from Xbox 360 platform to the list.

Segment Next reported that some of the best Xbox One backwards compatibility games at the Ultimate Game Sale are "Fallout 3" and "Assassin's Creed II." Both the games are available at 50 percent discount, 7.49 and $9.99, respectively for Xbox Live Gold members.

The other games which have been made backwards compatible with Xbox One are "Deus Ex: Human Revolution," "Dead Space," "Jet Set Radio," "Gears of War 3," " Left 4 Dead 2," and "Portal: Still Alive." The Bit Bag reported that almost all the games in the Xbox Ultimate Game Sale have around 40 to 70 percent discount on the original price with an additional 10 percent discount for the Xbox Live Gold members.

More than 200 games from Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Windows 10 platforms including "Star Wars Battlefront," "Rise of the Tomb Raider," "Mortal Kombat X," and "Far Cry Primal" are available in the sale. Express reported that the game sale features a mixture of genres like role playing, shooting, puzzles, trivia, and action-adventure.

The Xbox One backwards compatibility games in the sale will be available at discounted prices until July 11, 2016. The company has also scrapped the price of the Xbox One console to $322 with a $50 gift code.
