The upcoming Apple iPhone 7 is rumored to be almost similar to its predecessor the iPhone 6S in many ways. Reports claimed that the two will be identical apart from the operating system, storage capacity, and few design changes.

Even though the new operating system and design changes are rumored to provide some modifications to the new iPhone 7, Know Your Mobile stated that it will be very minimal in nature. According to the iPhone comparison reports, the iPhone 7 is rumored to feature 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch display screens with 3D Touch technology similar to the iPhone 6S.

The iPhone 7 is expected to be almost similar to its predecessor in terms of the camera specs except for some minor changes. Reports claimed that the new device will feature a dual lens 12-megapixel rear camera with 5-megapixel wide lens front camera. It is rumored that the iPhone 7 will also sport 4K video recording functionality and optical image stabilization similar to iPhone 6S.

On the other hand, the iPhone 7 is reported to be different from the iPhone 6S in terms of storage capacity, operating system, and processor, reported Alphr.

The iPhone 7 will reportedly sport a 3 GB RAM compared to the iPhone 6S's 2 GB RAM capacity. Moreover, the upcoming flagship phone is rumored to scrap the 16 GB storage in its base device and instead will feature a 32 GB internal storage capacity with 64 GB, 124 GB, and additional 256 GB in its other variants.

Also, rumors hinted that the iPhone 7 will feature the upcoming iOS 10 and A10 motion processor with newly loaded functionalities. This is expected to provide enhancement to the new Apple device features as compared to iPhone 6S, which has iOS 9 system and A9 processor. Expect the new smartphone to skip headphone jack and include the Smart Connector found in iPad Pro devices.

Apple has not yet confirmed the rumored specs, so stay tuned for possible surprises up its sleeves.
