Sony Xperia Z5 Premium vs iPhone 6S Plus: Which One To Opt For?

Below mentioned are the category-wise details of both the popular smartphones. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium features some impressive specs as compared to Apple's iPhone 6S Plus. PC Magazine reported that the Xperia Z5 premium features a 5.5-inch screen with a 4K display. On the other hand, the iPhone 6S Plus also features a 5.5-inch display with a 3D Touch display functionality.
The comparison reports have also revealed that both the Sony and Apple phones differ in terms of resolution specs. The Xperia Z5 premium has a much sharper display of 3840 x 2160 pixels resolution with 806ppi as compared to iPhone 6S Plus' 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution with 401ppi.
Both the smartphones are also different in terms of the overall design specs. The Sony smartphone sports an aluminum frame with glass front and rear panels. Tech Post reported that the Xperia Z5 Premium has flat edges with signature side power button which also acts as a fingerprint sensor. Meanwhile, the iPhone 6S Plus has curved edges with a power button on the side.
The Xperia Z5 Premium is also excellent in terms of performance with its Qualcomm MSM8994 Snapdragon 810 processor and 3 GB RAM compared to the iPhone 6S Plus's A9 processor and 2 GB RAM.
Both the devices also differ in terms of the camera specs. The Sony Xperia Z5 Premium consists of a 23-megapixels rear camera with extra add-ons like optical image stabilization, 5x zoom and autofocus. It also has 5-megapixels front snapper. Whereas, the iPhone 6S consists of only a 12-megapixels rear and 5-megapixels front camera.
Meanwhile, iTech Post reported that the Xperia Z5 Premium sports a PS4 Remote Play, which is a great addition for the PlayStation owners. But, the iPhone 6 Plus consists of features like Continuity Tying, which is compatible with only Apple devices.
