The Microsoft Surface Pro 5 is expected to feature exceptional specs compared to its predecessors despite similar design and keyboard features.

The Bit Bag reported that the Microsoft tablet will sport a rechargeable stylus, which is expected to be of various shapes and sizes. "The stylus charger may take the form of a dock that holds the stylus in a particular location during charging and/or while the stylus is not being used," according to the Microsoft's stylus patent.

The Surface Pro 5 will feature improvised battery specs compared to its predecessor, Surface Pro 4, will provide users with seven to nine hours of battery support once it is fully charged.

Furthermore, there are reports that the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will be preinstalled with the latest version of Windows 10 Redstone 2 OS. Reports also hinted that the device will sport new Intel Kaby Lake chip processor with 4 GB RAM, which is expected to improve the overall performance of the device.

The Microsoft device is expected to feature a cutting-edge 4K Ultra HD screen with a 3840 x 2160 display resolution. V3 reported that the Surface Pro 5 will also consist of advanced micro devices and new Polaris graphics architecture. This is rumored to make the device compatible for playing different games.

There are reports that the upcoming Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will consist of USB Type-C 3.1 port, which will provide users faster data transfers. Reports claimed that the device will also sport two screen resolutions, 2K and 4K for exceptional display functionality.

Meanwhile, it is reported that the Microsoft Surface Pro 5 will most likely be released in 2017 with price tags of $899, $999 and $1,599, depending on the various specifications.
