Good news awaits all the Apple's fans. In addition to anticipation for the iPhone 7, users can also expect iPad Mini 5 to be launched this September.

The fifth version of the iPad Mini is expected to be a success considering the history of its predecessors, still, fans are wondering if Apple has anything special planned for this launch.

Although the exact dates of the launch are not confirmed, yet looking at the launch dates of the previous generation of iPad Mini, it can be anticipated that launch will be in September.

At Apple's March 2016 event, the company announced its new iPhone SE, 9.7in iPad Air Pro, iOS 9.3, and new Apple Watch straps. There was no mention of the iPad mini 5, which led users to believe that it might be released in September following last year's timeline.

However, chances are there that the release date might change soon, especially if Apple decides to step up the game and revamp its iPad lineup, unveiling iPad 3 Air along with iPad 5 mini. This will definitely take a month extra, and users can expect both the devices in October 2016 in that case.

According to PC Advisor, last year's Sept. 9 launch was earlier than anticipated, with the release of flagship products iPhone 6 and 6s. Thus, this year's launch could also follow the same pattern.

On the specs side, the iPad Mini 5 might be a bit thinner compared to its predecessors. Rumor has it that the body could even be just around 5 millimeters, which in turn is an intriguing concept for iPad users. 

If both the rumored devices are launched in September, it seems that Apple users will be in for a treat. However, since there is no official confirmation for the same, users will have to stay tuned to news for updates.
