Nikon D810 is one of Nikon's high-end DSLR with specs that speaks for itself. It is currently on sale now to let consumers save as much as $900 and here are the reasons that will make consumers utter the big YES to the offer.

As for Nikon's specifications, the D810 is well-known for its relatively high sensor resolution of 36.3 megapixels in Full-Frame format. There's even no anti-aliasing filter applied giving the images a sharper look.

It has a decent shooting speed of 5fps in FX and 7fps in DX mode so fast subjects and sports photography can still be covered with the camera.

One nice addition to the Nikon D810 is its capability to go as low as ISO 64. This is very beneficial for shooters who like to take advantage of an extremely shallow depth of field. The need for neutral density filter may be overlooked, but may still be required for extreme conditions like sunny outdoor settings.

For video shooters, the inclusion of "Auto ISO" is also a nice treat as it assists users who like to take advantage of manual controls like shutter speed and aperture. This saves the users time going back and forth on the ISO sensitivity settings.

For still image snappers, the Viewfinder with OLED overlay that displays 100% coverage is also a great feature. It will ensure that images captured and seen on the viewfinder are as accurately reproduced as much as possible.

The images also have almost perfect out-of-camera colors which may also save consumers time in post processing. The images possess great warm yellows and greens which are ideal for landscape and low-light situations.

One minor problem with the jpeg images is lack of sharpness when compared side-by-side with other models on even lower tiers. Still, nothing a good post processing can't fix, but this may not be a viable solution to some.

With videos, most users problem consist of having unusable AF while shooting. This has been a common thing with most Nikon DSLRs and sadly, its the same with the Nikon D810.

Check the video below to see how the AF works on mid to low light situation:

From the original price of $3,299.95 to $2,799.95 for the body and $4,399.95 down to $3,499.95 for a 24-120mm VR lens kit, the minor flaws may be overlooked and if you've got a pocket willing to be burnt a with a huge hole in it, the Nikon D810 might be a nice purchase right now.
