"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" is just a couple of months away, and with its release date looming ahead, new trailer and updates about the game are bound to come out.

Recently, the upcoming fighting role-playing video game finally unleashed its 4-minute trailer, giving fans a lens into the more chaotic Dragon Ball universe. It also gives players an idea of how user-created characters will be involved in the gameplay, including one new transformation called "A Giant Namekian" also known as the "Great Namek."

A new Hub City, dubbed Canton City, has also been added to the game. According to MNR Daily, the new Canton City is seven times larger than the game's predecessor, where more than 300 players could connect simultaneously.

As of press time, Goku, Goku (GT), Turles, Future Trunks, Future Gohan, Vegeta, Slug, Super Saiyan Gogeta, Janemba, Imperfect Cell, Broly, Time Breaker Bardock and Android 16 have been confirmed as playable characters. Adding more excitement to the game is the addition of Future Trunks Saga's menacing villain, Black Goku, GamenGuide reported.

According to the news outlet, the extremely savage and sadistic villain will come as a pre-order bonus. It is said that Black Goku's transformation will also be highlighted in the upcoming video game.

Developed by Dimps, "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" takes place two years after the events of the first game, with the protagonist now joining the expanded Time Patrol and take on several different mission in order to stop the course of history from changing again.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will be launched for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on Oct. 25 in North America, Oct. 28 in Europe, and Nov. 2 in Japan. Stay tuned for more "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" news here.
