Galaxy Tab S3 Release Date, Specs: Samsung Device Arriving In 3 Weeks?

Ten months after the release of Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 8.0, consumers are already rallying about the release date of the Tab S3 version.

Has the South Korean tech giant finally identified an official release date for the upcoming device? What features will it be packed of?

The latest updates and rumors have suggested that the wait will finally be over soon.

According to 9TO5 Google, a Russian tech journalist, Eldar Murtazin, pointed out that Samsung must already introduce its third generation Android tablet by Sept. 1.

He failed to detail, though, as to where (or from whom) he got this information about the Galaxy Tab S3 release date.

Therefore, this remains to be a rumor since there is no identified specific source that may back up such claim.

Amid the absence of an official statement from Samsung, 9TO5 Google stated that the rumoured release date appeared to have some sense considering that the device's predecessor, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, was made available around that time as well in 2015.

In the meantime, Tech Radar disclosed that contrary to what several reports in the past have hinted, the tech company from South Korea has not given up yet its Galaxy Tab S series, which means that the S3 model is sure to arrive.

With Samsung still being mum about their rumoured Android flagship tablet, the tech site cited some speculated specs and features that the upcoming device will boast of.

A leaked image from a reliable source reportedly gave a snippet on the new tablet's design.

Accordingly, the Galaxy Tab S3 has a strong semblance to its previous model - a home button at the bottom of the front screen, 4:3 display ratio and plastic back.

However, consumers can look forward to certain upgrades - the Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor with 3GB of RAM,  4,000mAh battery and 32GB of storage capacity.
