'Deus Ex: Mankind Divided' Review Scores 9/10 From EDGE: A Game Of The Year Material
C. de LacyLess than a week before its release date, "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" already scored high from a publisher which rarely gives such high ratings, EDGE magazine.
EDGE Magazine has always been known as a publication company that rarely gives high scores even for great video games. For the last 20 years, only 15 games got a perfect score of 10/10 from EDGE and those games includes titles such as "Super Mario 64," "The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina Of Time," "The Last of Us" and "Half-Life 2."
Just a few hours before the embargo for "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" ends, it got its first review with a very high score of 9/10. Once the embargo lifts at 9 a.m Eastern Time, fans and players will find out how Adam Jensen made it on the top with an almost perfect score.
The prior game "Deus Ex: Human Revolution" also got high scores like 9/10 from IGN; and it may not be surprising that the latter game gets the same reception.
While it strikingly looks like a remastered "Deus Ex: Human Revolution," there wouldn't be any doubt that the game will also secure a place in every gamers' collection as it offers more than twice, the former game did.
"Mankind Divided" is a follow up game from "Human Revolution." It takes place two years after the events on the previous chapter and will still let players take the role of ex-SWAT Adam Jensen, who has augmented capabilities.
This time, Jenses assists the group of hackers called Juggernaut Collective to fight against the Illuminati and the hoard of terrorist group consisting of augmented humans just like him.
"Deus Ex: Mankind Divided" is scheduled to be officially released this coming August 23 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and Windows. Day One Edition and Standard Edition are priced at $59.69 on Amazon.
The Collector's Edition, priced at $139.96, contains Classic, Enforcer and Intruder In-Game DLC packs, Digital Novella, Digital Comic Book, Extra in-game mission, Digital Artbook, and Digital OST sampler. It also has a 9" Adam Jensen figurine, a 48-page Titan Art Book, and LE Steel book.
