NBA Trade Rumors: No Team Wants Los Angeles Lakers Nick Young Onboard?

According to the latest NBA trade rumor, the Los Angeles Lakers shooting guard Nick Young might have to deal with a rough start to the upcoming season. Reports claimed that the Lakers are desperately trying to get rid of Young in order to improve their roster.

To add on to that, Sports Rageous reported that if the Lakers are unable to find a proper trade deal for the 31-year-old player, then they might forcibly buy out his contract by paying him around $11 million out of the $21 million four-year contract.

Furthermore, it is stated that the Lakers are looking out for best deals for the veteran guard, but no team is reportedly interested in placing him on their roster. One of the main reasons behind ousting Young is his off-court riff with his teammate D'Angelo Russell. Also, reports claimed that Young's performance has degraded since the last season and he has been on the bench many times for a loss of focus on his game.

On the other hand, when no team is interested in trading Young, Asia Starz reported that the Brooklyn Nets might think of bringing him in and pair him in the backcourt with their point guard Jeremy Lin. Reports claimed that the Nets are planning to get back into the game by making changes to their roster after the loss of their star players Tyler Johnson and Allen Crabbe to the Miami Heat and Portland Trail Blazers.

There are reports that adding Nick Young will benefit the Nets as he will provide a great amount of wing rotation along with the shooting guards Rondae Hollis-Jefferson and Bojan Bogdanovic. Young also has an average of 7.3 points per game and is expected to add his on-court offensive skills to help the Nets win many games in their NBA league.

Nonetheless, the Nets reportedly do not consist of equally talented trade assets to offer to the Lakers. So, if the Brooklyn Nets want to trade for Young and ink a successful trade with Lakers, they will have to agree to send the future second round picks.

However, it is not sure whether the deal will materialize or not as there is still no major post from the Los Angeles Lakers about Young's future endeavors. Stay tuned here for more updates.
