In any video game, finishing the story without killing anyone can be a daunting task. Unfortunately, in order to get one of the gold trophies in "Deus Ex: Mankind Divided," you have to sit through an entire playthrough without killing.

Yes, that includes the bosses.

Here are a few tips and strategies on how to nab that otherwise elusive Pacifist trophy.

Non-Lethal Weapons

At the start of the game, you have the option to choose between lethal and non-lethal weapons. For this trophy, choose the non-lethal option. From here on out you are only going to use the Stun Pistol, Tranquilizer Rifle and other non-lethal weapons in your arsenal.

Stealth Runs

Two of the trophies in the game require a stealthy approach, like "Foxiest of the Hounds" wherein you should not trigger any alarms, and "I Never Asked For This," where you are required to finish the game on the highest difficulty setting.

Doing a single run for all these trophies will be easier, as you will need your stealth skills and non-lethal approach to prevent death in this run. (The highest difficulty setting has permadeath.)

Watch Out For Explosives

Enemies will sometimes chuck a grenade at you, or trigger explosives, which can possibly take out some of their own as well. Avoid that if you can. Also avoid doing anything lethal near knocked-out enemies as this can also cause their deaths.

Story-Based and Unavoidable Deaths

There are some deaths in the game that is part of the actual story. Thankfully, it does not count towards the Pacifist trophy, so you can leave them be. Without spoiling anything, the rule of thumb is if you didn't kill one of the characters directly, then it doesn't count.

Taking Down The Final Boss

Bosses are no exception to the "no killing" rule, and while it sounds impossible, even the final boss can be taken down without lethal force. To do that, use an EMP mine or EMP grenade on the boss, and take him out with one melee attack when he is stunned.
