According to the latest reports, the recently launched Samsung Galaxy Note 7 has been officially recalled by the South Korean technology giant because of the battery issues. Below report is intended to review the serious threat caused by the new Samsung device and whether you should buy it or not.

Firstly, CNET reported that the Galaxy Note 7 is facing the battery overheating issues, which has also led to fatal explosions. The Samsung phone device's rechargeable battery is touted to be risky because of its lithium-ion based composition, which has caused three serious accidents on the cargo carriers.

Reports claimed that the latest Galaxy device recently exploded in the hands of a six-year-old kid in Brooklyn New York while watching videos. According to Bloomberg, the new batteries installed in Note 7 can self-ignite and are unresponsive to halon, which is primarily the fire-extinguishing agent used aboard aircraft.

Earlier this month, the US Consumer Product Safety Commission and Samsung recently warned the Note 7 users to immediately turn off the smartphones and stop charging them. Also, reports stated that the Aviation authorities have suggested the travelers to stop using the phone because of the possibility of explosion.

If the battery issues are overlooked, reports claimed that the Note 7 features many excellent specs like the Iris scanner, water-resistant design, a huge display of 5.7-inch with 4GB RAM and 64 GB of internal storage on board. In terms of software specs, it runs on the upgraded Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system.

Meanwhile, few reports claimed that the Galaxy Note 7 with a new set of batteries will be made available to the users on September 19, 2016. However, there is no official confirmation on the re-release date of the revamped device.

With the dangerous battery issues, it is advisable that the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 users temporarily exchange the phone with other devices or swap the phone with Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.
