Dheeraj RAmidst rumors that the new MacBook Air will be launched in early 2017, reports claimed that the Apple laptop will sport many excellent specs like the Retina display, USB Type-C port, and much more. Below, we have listed down all the rumored features of the upcoming MacBook Air series in order to give you an overview.
Asia Starz reported that the latest MacBook Air lineup will sport a 15-inch screen coupled with the Retina display panel. Few reports stated that the device will also be made available in three variants, namely 11-inch, 13-inch, and 15-inch. The upcoming Air series installment is also rumored to be slimmer and lighter compared to the earlier MacBook Air device.
With the new chassis, the MacBook Air 2017 might also feature new cooling modules along with the enhanced chipset and battery. Even though the specific details of the processor and battery capacity are yet to be revealed, their enhanced versions are rumored to provide excellent device performance.
Furthermore, MacWorld stated that the new Apple MacBook Air 2017 is expected to sport an Apple-Pencil enabled trackpad. This new functionality is rumored to enable the users to operate the stylus in different modes like the joystick mode, a rotational controller mode, an air mouse mode, and other inertial sensor modes.
Also, reports claimed that the Apple device will also sport the Touch ID feature along with the Force Touch upgrade, which will provide the MacBook Air users with advanced security measures. It is also expected to consist of the USB Type-C interface with an integrated Thunderbolt 3 port for faster charging and data transfers.
Lastly, the upcoming MacBook Air 2017 device is anticipated to be priced for above $1200 because of the inclusion of new specs. However, there is no official confirmation from Apple about the same till date.
