‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Jack To Take Revenge? No Reprisal For Adam’s Role?

"The Young and the Restless" spoilers recognized all the aspects of Adam's apparent passing for many months. Just recently, Melissa Claire Egan, playing the role of Chelsea, has been interviewed about the potential comeback of Adam's character.

While she didn't revealed a reprisal, her remarks suggested that one of the three actors can play Adam when he returns, as reported by Celebrity Dirty Laundry.

"I really don't think they will (go there), and I'm not just saying that. There are a lot of stories to tell and lots of people here. Chelsea is in mourning right now. I truly don't think there is going to be another Adam ... but, who knows? As of now, I don't think there is a plan to," said Egan.

Egan has been so careful with her words since revealing plot secrets is a never allowed.

The no recast might mean Adam may only be revived by three actors who had already represented him: Chris Engen, who first played Adam on 2008-2009, Michael Muhney, who handled the role in 2009, and Justin Hartley, who took over from 2014 until this summer.

According to sources, Engen is not likely the choice to return as Muhney remains to be a fan favorite. Previously, Muhney has hinted his return to "The Young and The Restless," but his role remains questionable.

Hartley, on the other hand, is on the NBC's prime time series "This Is Us" which has just been released later this month. If his new show does not become successful then the Y&R might consider re-hiring him or someone who the audience embraced.

Furthermore, "The Young and the Restless" spoilers suggested that Jack, played by Peter Bergman, will let go of his good personality and channel his doppelganger Marco as he was hurt about Billy (Jason Thomspon) and Phyllis' (Gina Tognoni) betrayal.
