NVIDIA has been pushing their pascal-architecture family of GPUs and all of them have been nothing short of greatness from the 1060 to Titan X. Will the upcoming 1050 perform just as well or will the leaks indicate a bigger picture?

Following numerous leaks that surfaced earlier these past few days, the NVIDIA GTX 1050 finally reveals the full specifications. Both GTX 1050 and GTX 1050 Ti graphics card will be based of the GP107 Pascal GPU.

Videocardz.com listed both the GTX 1050 and GTX 1050 as GPUs under the 16nm GP107 GPU category. Both are entry-level graphics card in terms of overall specs and price.

The NVIDIA GTX 1050 Ti will have an incremental speed over the standard GTX 1050 of 768 CUDA Cores with 48 TMUs. The memory it has is also doubled from the standard 2GB GDDR5 to 4GB GDDR5.

However, it would only be the only GPU in the Pascal-architecture that wouldn't have a DVI-out as it only has three display port, and one HDMI 2.0b port. This may not be an issue to most consumers though as HDMI is more or less the standard connection nowadays.

Even with slightly lower amount of CUDA core, both the GTX 1050 and GTX 1050 Ti are still considered as formidable contenders in the Pascal line or even with its AMD counterpart, the Radeon RX 460 4GB.

In terms of price, the GTX 1050 and GTX 1050 Ti are very affordable with prices rumored to be just around $120 and $150 respectively.

These are still subject to changes and are yet to be confirmed, but given the current prices for both entry-level GPUs from NVIDIA and AMD, GTX 1050 and GTX 1050 Ti may be able to secure an easy slot to gamers looking for an affordable upgrade.

Despite not getting any release dates from the manufacturer, both the GTX 1050 and 1050 Ti are expected to be released this coming October.
