[Update] NBA Trade Rumors: Stephen Curry To Stay With Golden State Warriors Next Season

Amidst NBA trade rumors that the Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry might leave the team next season, it seems that the 28-year-old player is planning to stay with his current team.

The speculations about Curry leaving the Warriors surfaced lately as he will become an unrestricted free agent next summer. Also, Curry's low salary and the second lead position in the team as compared to the recently acquired player Kevin Durant is stated to have paved the way for the trade rumors.

Nevertheless, Curry recently cleared the air stating that even after he becomes a free agent, he has no plans to leave the Golden State Warriors. "We'll worry about that in the next summer," Curry told The Mercury News when asked about his free agency plans next year. "My answer's not going to be different all year. I'm not gonna let it distract me at all. I want to be back here. I like playing here. And that's it. The rest of it is what we're gonna do this year."

But, Sports Rageous reported that Curry might think of signing a deal with the Charlotte Hornets if the Warriors are again unable to win the NBA league title this year. However, the latest statement made by the Warriors lead player has suggested otherwise. We will have to wait until next year to find out if the rumors turn out to be true or not.

Meanwhile, it is stated that with Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry on the team's roster, the Golden State Warriors is touted to be the super team with high chances of winning the this year's NBA championship title. Reports claimed that the duo will help the team to display excellent offensive and defensive gameplay on the court, which will thus result in high scores on the board.
