The Samsung J series has been a successful series for the Korean tech giant. Most smartphone models of the series were in the top trending smartphones of 2015, so now, we thought of going back and doing a side-by-side comparison of their design, specs, and features.

When it comes to design, the Samsung Galaxy J3 and J5 are slightly similar. Among the three, Samsung Galaxy J7 is the tallest, widest, and is slightly sleek in appearance. It is also the most dense and lightest compared to the Galaxy J3 and Galaxy J5.

Both the J3 and J5 have similar screen size. The Galaxy J7 has the highest screen size, according to NDTV Gadgets.

Coming to hardware, the Samsung Galaxy J3 is powered by 1.5 GHz quad core, whereas the Samsung Galaxy J5 runs with 1.2 GHz quad core, and the Galaxy J7 model has a 1.5 GHz octa-core under its hood. Of the three, the Samsung Galaxy J7 offers a smoother experience. The model is followed by the Galaxy J3 thanks to the faster CPU speed .

Internal storage is similar for both the Samsung Galaxy J3 and J5 models. The Samsung Galaxy J7 has twice the internal storage than both models.

Comparing the cameras, the rear camera resolution is least in the Galaxy J3 with other two models having similar resolutions.

When it comes to battery, the Galaxy J3 model remains the only smartphone with a non-removable battery.  The Galaxy J3 and J5 have similar battery capacity but are lesser than the Galaxy J7 model.

Among the three models, the Samsung Galaxy J3 remains the only model which supports NFC and which is not dual-SIM as per the Phone Bunch.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 is clearly the best choice among the three models with more advanced features. It is tough to pick a winner between the Galaxy J3 and J5 models since the upgrade is not that significant.
