With the NBA training camps around the corner, the latest trade rumors hinted that the New York Knicks might enter into a deal with the Los Angeles Clippers. Reports claimed that the Knicks is eyeing Clippers power forward Blake Griffin in order to improve their roster and gear up for the upcoming NBA season.

Sports Rageous reported that the Knicks are in the process of rebuilding their team and adding Griffin is rumored to provide them an added advantage over other teams in the NBA league. If the trade rumors turn out to be true, it is stated that the Knicks will team up Griffin with their small forward Carmelo Anthony and point guard Derrick Rose so as to improve the team's offensive and defensive gameplay.

In order to seal the deal with the Los Angeles Clippers, the Knicks are expected to send their power forward Kristaps Porzingis in exchange for Griffin. Besides, few reports stated that the Knicks might also have to part ways with center Joakim Noah to assure the Griffin trade option.

On top the trade rumors, Real GM trade checker suggested that the Griffin, Porzingis and Noah trade scenario is not viable for the Knicks as trading Porzingis and Noah is rumored to seriously affect their frontcourt gameplay. Also, few reports stated that giving away Porzingis will affect the Knicks' defensive skills as he is touted to be one of the high-potential players of the team on the defensive side.

On the other hand, it is reported that the Clippers are looking forward to dealing Griffin this season as he is expected to hit the free agency after the 2016-2017 NBA Season. Reports claimed the Clippers are eyeing perfect deals in exchange for Griffin to avoid the situation similar to the Golden State Warriors.

However, none of the teams have commented on the possible trade scenario. Keep posted here for more NBA trade rumors and updates.
