One of Hollywood's biggest power couples, George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin, recently celebrated their second anniversary last week.

Details about how the two celebrated their anniversary on Sept. 27 was revealed by Clooney, adding he especially wanted to make her happy.

"It's very big news. Very, very big celebration-fireworks," the Oscar-winning actor joked to E! News about his plans with Amal. "Ok, I made dinner."

The actor also shared during an interview that his wife was impressed with his cooking and that their celebration was a success.

"We had a very romantic second anniversary. Very civilized," he said.

The celebration of the second year of their marriage proved that speculations that their relationship will not last long are wrong.

Moreover, insiders revealed that the couple was the picture of love Saturday night at MPTF's 95th anniversary celebration, three days after their second year wedding anniversary celebration.

"He tended to her. She affectionately brushed her hand across his cheek at one point while they were talking," the eyewitness described. "George and Amal were very affectionate."

To recall, Clooney also pronounced in an interview in May that he is happy with his marriage.

"I've never been happier in a relationship by any stretch of the imagination. At 52 I found the love of my life and I'm really happy," he said

Interestingly, new reports claimed that the Hollywood couple are now trying to have a baby.

According to a report, a source claimed that the barrister is going to start in vitro fertilization next month after failing to get pregnant the natural way.

There has been no confirmation from the couple whether the reports are true, but recent news suggested that the couple has been wanting to a start a family.
