With the new NBA season about to start in a few days, the latest trade rumors hinted that the Sacramento Kings might enter into a deal with the Toronto Raptors. Reports claimed that the Kings will trade their power forward DeMarcus Cousins in order to rebuild their roster.

HNGN reported that the Sacramento Kings are currently eyeing a potential deal for the Cousins as he is currently touted to be the high- worth player and being chased by all the top contenders in the NBA league. Reports claimed that if the Kings sign a deal with the Toronto team then they are expected to receive Raptors' center Jonas Valanciunas, point guard Cory Joseph and shooting guard Norman Powell.

According to the trade rumors, Valanciunas is expected to fill the void created by Cousins departure. The center player will provide the Kings' with excellent offensive and defensive skills, which will help the team to put up high scores on the board in the new NBA season.

As far as the Raptors are concerned, ChattSportsNet reported that they might also receive Kings' point guard Darren Collison as a part of the trade. It is stated that Cousins and Darren will help the Raptors to improve their defensive and offensive gameplay, which will help them to provide a tough competition to other teams in the league.

On the other hand, few reports suggested that Cousins might be traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, which will help the Kings to enhance their roster with power forward Julius Randle, point guard Jordan Clarkson and D'Angelo Russell.

However, it remains to be seen whether the Sacramento Kings actually go ahead with any of the above-mentioned trade scenarios as few reports stated that the team might not trade Cousins in the upcoming NBA season.
