The latest NBA trade rumors hinted that a deal between the Phoenix Suns and the San Antonio Spurs might be on the cards next summer in order to trade point guard Brandon Knight.

Sports Rageous reported that the San Antonio Spurs are currently in search for the perfect replacement option for their point guard Tony Parker. The main reason behind this may be because the Spurs are looking forward to having younger players on their roster and Parker is touted to be a misfit. Reports claimed that Spurs might bring in Knight from the Suns to fill the void created by Parker's departure.

It is stated that the San Antonio Spurs want to improve their backcourt gameplay and Knight is purported to be the perfect fit. Reports claimed that Knight will provide the Spurs with excellent offensive skills, which will help them to take on other teams in the Western Conference like the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers.

In order to seal the deal with the Phoenix Suns, the Spurs are rumored to offer Parker along with few future NBA 2017 draft picks.

On the other hand, few reports hinted that even the Phoenix Suns might be interested in trading Knight next summer. Reports suggested that the Parker will provide the Suns with exceptional offensive gameplay, which will help them to raise their bar in the NBA league.

It is expected that the Suns will be able to further rebuild their team by bringing in young future NBA draft picks from the San Antonio Spurs. Also, the trade rumors suggested that the Suns will save money from the deal as Parker currently has only two years of contract left while Knight has four years left.

However, there is still no official word on the rumored Spurs-Suns deal yet. Stay tuned for more updates and NBA trade rumors.
