The Google Nexus 6 and Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime are currently one of the best budget-friendly smartphones with great features and specifications in the market right now.

To know which of these two smartphones is worth buying, let's try to compare them.

The Galaxy J7 Prime is the updated version of the Galaxy J7 2016 which sports an Exynos octa-core processor and a Mali-T830MP2 graphics card, together with 3 GB RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 256 GB. The device is well-built with a metallic design rooted with 2.5 D curved glasses and a fingerprint sensor for security.

The Nexus 6 also features a metallic frames which is more chic than its predecessors. It is powered by a 2.7GHz, quad-core Snapdragon 805 chipset and 3 GB of RAM and comes in 32 GB, 64 GB storage capacity options.

In terms of camera, the Nexus 6 has 13-megapixel rear camera and a 2-megapixel front camera with specs like OIS and dual-LED flash. According to Techradar, with Nexus 6 having a "solid snapper, it rarely excels and especially struggles in low-light."

On the other hand, the Galaxy J7 Prime also offers a 13-megapixel rear camera, but the front snapper is 8-megapixel, which is way better than the Nexus 6. The Indian Express reported that "Neither camera offers RAW output" which is "a little disappointing."

The source added that "Camera functions very well during the day, with images that are pleasingly saturated and capture decent amount of contrast. At night time though, the focus is terribly frustrating and the Pro modes lack of manual focus adds to our woes."

As far as the battery life is concern, the Samsung phone has a non-removable Li-lon 3300 mAh battery that offers up to 21 hours talk-time. With this, the Google Nexus 6 beats the Galaxy J7 Prime with 3220 mAh battery that provides about 24 hours of talk time.

Moreover, the Samsung device features a fingerprint scanner which is not offered by Nexus 6. It has the S-Secure mode for hiding apps, secure folder, and secure Wi-Fi. It has also the newest S-Bike mode, which automatically silences incoming calls when the users are riding a bike.

The Samsung Galaxy J7 Prime is priced up to $280, while the Google Nexus 6 is now priced around $300.

Both smartphones are good for use, but still it depends on your choice and requirement.
