Despite the death of actor Paul Walker, "Fast and Furious" continues with its movie franchise. Still, many are still hoping even for a glimpse of Walker's character, Brian O'Conner, in the upcoming "Fast and Furious 8."

To recall, the actor died after an accident which happened before the team even finished production for "Fast and Furious 7," causing his presence in the film to be made possible by his brother and a mix of technology. Thus, fans of his movies are wondering if the creators would do the same thing for the upcoming "Fast and Furious 8."

"Paul's the heart of it, he's the guy who really loved the genre, he loved that lifestyle," Michelle Rodriguez, one of the main cast said.

"And not having that love affair with cars and that lifestyle, it removed a certain aspect of the soul of the franchise and it hurts all of us and we all know it," she added.

Moreover, reports claimed that Vin Diesel is apparently interested in bringing back the late Paul Walker's character in future films and hinted that a future "Fast and Furious" movie could bring back Brian presumably using CGI.

"I had a phone call with Vin for about an hour and we really discussed this a while back. He wanted [our] blessing," Caleb told Entertainment Tonight. "[Vin asked if it] would be acceptable to maybe bring Paul's character back... to really kind of let his fans know he's still out there."

"Universal wants to make sure to be respectful of Paul and his image too, and his family," his brother Cody added.

To recall, when the next "Fast and Furious" sequel was officially announced last summer, Vin Diesel explained that "7 was for Paul, 8 is from Paul".

"Fast and Furious 8" is set to be released on April 14, 2017.
