Our comparison report of the Apple iPad Air 2, Samsung Galaxy Tab S2, and the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 suggested a stiff competition in the tablet market. Below we have pitted all the three devices against each other in terms of their specs and features, which is intended to help you to choose the best buy option.

The Apple iPad Air 2 sports an aluminum chassis with Touch ID sensor and Lightning Connector port. On the other hand, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 features sleeker metallic chassis as compared to the Apple device. It also consists of 4:3 aspect ratio, which provides you with excellent device display along with the fingerprint sensor for added security measures. Whereas the Yoga Tab 3 is the heaviest out of the three devices with a cylindrical leather chassis with a projector fitted onto it.

In terms of display, the iPad Air 2 sports a 9.7-inch screen with IPS Retina display panel and 2048x 1536 pixels resolution. It also consists of additional features like fully laminated display and Anti-reflective coating. On the other hand, the Galaxy Tab S2 features 8-inch and 9.7-inch screen variants with Super AMOLED display and 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution onboard. The Lenovo tablet consists of a 10.1-inch screen with sharp bright IPS display panel and 2,560 x 1,600 pixels resolution, which is touted to be excellent for watching videos.

When it comes to the performance-related specs, the Samsung tablet is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 or Exynos 5433 chipset depending upon its variants with 3 GB RAM. It also allows you to expand the 32 GB or 64 GB internal storage to 128 GB. On the other hand, the Yoga Tab 3 sports a quad-core Intel Atom x5-Z8500 processor with 2 GB RAM and 32 GB of internal storage. The IPad Air 2 features an A8X second-generation chipset along with M8 motion coprocessor, which provides around 40 percent faster CPU performance as compared to its predecessors. It offers 2 GB RAM and 128 GB of internal storage option.

Furthermore, the iPad Air 2 consists of an 8-megapixel primary and 1.2-megapixel secondary camera with features like autofocus, auto video & image stabilization, improved face detection, 3x video zoom, and auto HDR. Whereas, the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 sports an 8-megapixel rear and 2.1-megapixel front camera. The Lenovo tablet consists of a 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front camera.

In terms of operating system, the iPad Air 2 is shipped with the iOS 9, which provides you with enhanced applications and new features like Slide Over, Split View, and Picture in Picture. The Galaxy Tab S2 runs on the Android v5.0.2 Lollipop OS that is upgradable to v6.0.1 Marshmallow OS. On the other hand, the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 sports the Android v5.1 Lollipop OS.

As far as the battery is concerned, the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 is the beast of all with 10,200 mAh capacity. While the iPad Air 2 is touted to provide around 10 hours of battery life with 7349 mAh battery, the Galaxy Tab S2 consist of a 5870 mAh battery capacity.  

To sum up, the Lenovo Yoga Tab 3 consists of a powerful processor with a sharp display and long battery life. However, in some areas the Apple iPad Air 2 and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 beat the former device with the latest operating system and internal storage options.
