'Crash Bandicoot' Remastered PS4 Wishlist: What Needs To Stay And Go Away
C. de LacyWith the recent breaking news of "Crash Bandicoot" finally coming on for the PlayStation 4, the hype for one of Naughty Dog's most popular titles have started pouring online. Here are some of the things that most fans requested.
Initially revealed at this year's E3, "Crash Bandicoot" is making a huge comeback to the current generation PlayStation 4 console. According to the recent report that we've covered, the game is highly rumored to be coming out this February 2017.
While there's no official confirmation yet, fans already have a number of things that they'd rather see coming back on the game, whether if it will be a new entry in the series or a remaster.
Retaining The Core Gameplay Of The Series
The first "Crash Bandicoot" title was not without a few couple of hiccups, but it got the job done and almost perfectly. These issues were rectified when the next game titled "Crash Bandicoot: Cortex Strikes Back" and even more so with "Crash Bandicoot: Warped."
When Naughty Dog handed the development over to a different studio, things weren't the same and the latter games in the series and the PlayStation 2 titles didn't get the same high review ratings that the PlayStation 1 titles did.
The remaster or remake will benefit highly with the style of free-roam that the third game in the series had. The "Wrath of Cortex" didn't get the same scores and high-regard that "Warped" got despite having better graphics and expanded free roaming.
Reworked Graphics From Scratch
Recently, another news surfaced regarding "Crash Bandicoot" for PlayStation 4 and its remastered box art. Though not really cringe-worthy, a lot of fans and gamers reacted negatively with what appeared to be the rumored box art.
Crash made an appearance on the game "Skylanders" and the box art looks strikingly similar. Fans, however, isn't very happy with this and will never be as based from the reactions to the possible design.
What many fans are looking forward is better graphics that still pays homage to the old Crash design before the development was handed over to Universal Studios.
