Have you ever been out and about with your iPad, the charger and a bottle of beer, when suddenly you feel the need to pop the cap and have a sip? Unfortunately, you didn't have a beer bottle opener, so what do you do? Well, US student Eva Giselle tweeted a special little picture that allegedly showed her opening a beer bottle with an iPad charger of all things.

The picture has since went viral with many iPad owners trying out this new found of way popping the cap off a beer bottle. Many users went ahead to try this new trick. Unfortunately for some, whatever beer bottle they were trying to open was too much for their charger, which suffered cracks and fractures.

Not all were unlucky in this feat. CNet writer Josh Lowensohn, did as the picture depicts and within seconds the top was off and he was enjoying his beer. It seems possible if done correctly, but we wouldn't bet on doing it on a regular basis. Chargers weren't made to pop a bottle of beer, so the folks who experienced cracks and fractures while trying this should have giving it some thought before going ahead and taking the bait.

Then again, sometimes a beer is more important than a recharge so what the heck, get those chargers out and pop some beers.
