Gameloft, the developer behind mobile games such as Modern Combat 3 and Shark Dash, has announced the soon to be available Men in Black 3 and Asphalt 7: Heat mobile games for iOS and Android devices. First to be released will be Asphalt 7: Heat, followed by Men Black 3 which will be available for download on May 25, which is the same release date as the film.
Asphalt 7: Heat could take the route of the Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit series with the addition of police chases, according to rumors. Talks of more cars and a significant increase in graphics should get fans of the series drooling in anticipation. The game was first shown onstage at the Samsung Galaxy S3 event last week in London, and we have to admit, Asphalt 7: Heat looks amazing for a mobile game.
Next we have Men In Black 3. We all know about this due to the upcoming movie that is being prepared to hit theaters on May 25. Many mobile gamers will be happy to know that MB3 is a freemium title, meaning it is free to download and play, but if you should want better items, you will be required to purchase these items in-game. This is an awesome move on Gameloft's part, as it has been proven time and again that freemium titles are more profitable compared to games sold on the cheap.
The first trailer of the game has been released. Sadly, it doesn't show much gameplay in the 39 second long video.
Both games have the potential to be great, but at the moment we are leaning towards Asphalt 7: Heat, mainly due to the rumors of police chases. Which games are you planning on getting?
