The LG X Power smartphone was launched mid of this year. It was proclaimed as a device that would last longer than any other smartphone. But how does it fare in other aspects and in the overall competition?

Looking at the physical design, the 5.3-inch screen has a plastic build with absolutely no trendy glass or metallic elements. It is solid built and there are no loose components.

From a screen display perspective, the LG X Power comes with 1280x720 pixel resolution as per NDTV Gadgets. The 720p resolution seems to be planned move to avoid additional strain on the battery.

The LG X Power comes in two variants: The US model which is powered by the Snapdragon 210 and the international model which runs on the 28nm MediaTek MT6735 system chip. Phone Arena reports that the smartphone is a smooth performer for daily tasks thanks to the company's optimizations and the low screen resolution. However, intense tasks could make the model perform slower and the CPU speed is not fast enough.

Another difference between the two variants of LG X Power comes in the cameras. While both models have a 5 MP front facing camera, the international variant comes with a 13MP rear camera while the US model comes with a 8 MP rear camera.

The LG X-Power has 2GB RAM capacity and an internal storage capacity of 16 GB. It also provides expandable storage capacity up to 32 GB.

Coming to the battery, LG X Power comes with a large battery capacity of 4100 mAh.Considering the size of the phone,LG did manage to keep the large battery without making it denser compared to some of the other heavy battery smartphones.

The design of the LG X Power is quite plain. There is no other selling point for the smartphone except for a large battery. Still, with the specs, the LG X Power can provide decent functional experience.
