iMac 2016 To Be Released On The October 27 Event? Rumored Specs & Features Here

With a day to go for the Apple event, many are hoping to see new products from the Cupertino-based tech giant.

Many analysts are betting high on seeing the entire Apple Mac range refreshed. Still, there are a few reports such as from Mac Rumors suggesting that the iMac may not get a big update. There is a huge possibility of seeing the new iMacs on sale from November.

MacWorld reported of a slip-up from US retailer Best Buy showing a Kaby Lake fuelled iMac listed for sale. This could be treated as a hint and seems to help in placing a bet for tomorrow's event. Again, it also raises hopes of seeing the Intel-based CPUS under the hood of the new iMacs.

There is a possibility of seeing certain iMac models to be powered by Polaris set of AMDs after all AMD did win the contract for graphics chips for Apple.

Another anticipated feature is VR. With all major brands looking to enhance the VR capabilities, Apple too could be joining the bandwagon. According to Tech Radar, With Polaris 10 and 11 capable of providing a decent VR experience, there could be something exciting in coming days for Apple fans.

Polaris graphic chips can offer faster speed with lower power consumptions compared to many available graphics chips in the market. These features should help in raising the resolution especially when it comes to gaming.

Apart from the graphic improvements, the iMac 2016 could also see fusion drives as the default storage. Perhaps flash storage can become the next storage standard starting from the iMac 2016.Flash storage can improve read and write speeds.

Other expected features in new iMac include Thunderbolt 3 and  USB 3.1.
