Spoilers for "Fairy Tail" chapter 508 are setting fans up for a huge revelation. Finally, the real connection between Irene Belserion and Erza Scarlet will be further explored in the upcoming chapter.

'Fairy Tail' Chapter 507 Recap

Released on Oct. 26, Wednesday, "Fairy Tail" chapter 507 started with Erza interfering with Natsu Dragneel and Gray Fullbuster's battle. She then expressed her love for her two comrades, helping them to remember the times they spent together.

As the battle continues, Wendy, Lucy and decided to take their injured comrades to Porlyusica to get treated. However, just moments before they leave, Erza shouted them to get down.

The group was then assaulted by a huge blast. Much to everyone's surprise, a familiar voice greeted Erza stating it has been dreadfully long. Irene then showed up, causing Lucy and Erza to question her real identity.

Stunned, Wendy noticed that the woman standing before them greatly resembled Erza. The chapter ended with Irene claiming that she and Erza are the same being.

'Fairy Tail' Chapter 508 Spoilers

The next chapter, dubbed "Pleasure and Pain," will further explore the real identity of Irene. Given Erza and Irene's scarlet hair, many speculated that the two originated from the same ancestry.

In the meantime, Gray and Juvia, who mysteriously separated from the group, find Invel Yura. The latter will presumably  reveal himself to be Silver's second-degree cousin and Gray's uncle and a biological father at the same time, according to Reddit user OharaLibrarianArtur.

For unknown reasons, Acnologia aka The Black Dragon stabs Invel in the back before revealing that he is actually Gray's mother and future child's nephew.

While nothing is impossible, fans must take the claims with a grain of salt. "Fairy Tail" chapter 508 is intended to come out on Nov. 2.
