'Fallout 5' Development Rumors Debunked By Ryan Alosio; Release Date Confusion Details

C. de Lacy

News of "Fallout 5" finally entering the initial development stages was recently debunked by the very person who accidentally and unintentionally caused the confusion in the first place, Ryan Alosio, the voice behind Deacon from "Fallout 4."

As reported by Fraghero, a recent buzz regarding "Fallout 5" and its development was squished when Ryan Alosio clarified the matters after deleting the post he made about "Fallout 5."

Fortunately for those who might have been put in the dark with the sudden deletion of the post, Alosio have reached out to FragHero to clarify the actions that had been taken as well as the reasoning behind the alleged announcement of the fifth game in the series.

As it turns out, Alosio was trying to interact with the fans of the game as if he was Deacon himself from "Fallout 4," which is pretty well-known for playing pranks and being deceitful. It also happens that Alosio was just starting out with Instagram and testing how people would react.

The actor then received a couple of messages from some fans, particularly those who have deemed his announcements as made by him, the actor and not actually the character he played in the game. This made appear that he had some access to some information regarding the game's development.

Alosio then adds that this one particular fan got excited over an information that he have supposedly "leaked" without taking the context that he was being the Deacon character from "Fallout 4," which is supposedly a person who provides unreliable information.

"Had they contacted me I would've cleared up the confusion immediately. I cannot "leak" information I never had. I have never had any information about Fallout 5. I know nothing about Fallout 5 other than I, and a LOT of other people really do hope they make it because they did such a great job on Fallout 4." he told Frag Hero.

Since then, the post has been deleted for the purpose of not further causing any more confusion, but this isn't to say that "Fallout 5" isn't in development or that it is not. The actor clearly stated that he know nothing of it, so it is technically back to square one for fans.
