The historical romance series which began in August and wrapped up last week on KBS, surpassed the 20 percent viewership mark after just three episodes. Park Bo Gum's portrayal of an playful Joseon era prince, his gradual transformation into a thoughtful ruler, and his youthful chemistry between Park and his love interest, played by Kim Yoo-jung, had viewers glued to their screens.

"I thought it was an unexpected character," Park Bo Gum said of his role. "You would normally expect a prince to be serious, but he was more than that. Outwardly he was very fun-loving, but inwardly he had vast ambitions for his country and cared deeply about his people."

The energy and connection between him and Kim Yoo Jung were reported to be palpable while acting, and thus has led rumors he is dating his on-screen partner.

"I felt like we would look into each other's eyes and know what the other was feeling," the 23-year-old actor revealed.

Moreover, the two were spotted spending their vacation together in Cebu City, Philippines. However, the two remained mum about the rumors regarding their real life romance.

In relation to this, the actor just recently reportedly shared his relationship with his former co-star in "Music Bank," Irene. However, the actor revealed they were just co-stars and he does not even have her phone number for him to contact her.

"Irene and I had great chemistry but we didn't contact each other [off-screens]. Actually, I don't even have her contact information," the actor responded.

Meanwhile, netizens are criticizing Park Bo Gum's "Moonlight Drawn By Clouds" co-star Kim Yoo Jung for choosing insensitive words during an interview. A report stated that the actress talked about her perception of the rich being a high rank and the less wealthy being a lower rank. However, the actress has not yet released any official statement in response.
