Asus recently launched the Zenfone 3 as a mid-range smartphone with excellent features like a huge battery, IPS display, fingerprint scanner, and much more. Below, we have pitted the device against two other smartphones, the OnePlus 3 and the HTC 10 in terms of specs and features. This reported is intended to help you to compare and choose the best device amongst the three based on your specs requirements.

The newly released Asus Zenfone 3 sports a metallic chassis with colored edges and 2.5D glass panels on the device's rear and front panel. It also consists of a fingerprint scanner on the right side of the device with USB Type-C port at the bottom edge. The OnePlus 3 and the HTC 10 consists of an aluminum chassis and fingerprint sensor.

In terms of display, the Zenfone 3 and the OnePlus 3 features a 5.5-inch screen and 1920x1080 pixels resolution. However, the Asus phone consists of IPS display panel whereas the OnePlus device features Optic AMOLED screen. Besides, the HTC 10 sports a 5.2-inch screen with Super LCD-5 display panel and 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution.

When it comes to the core performance-related specs, the Asus phone features Snapdragon 625 processor and Adreno 506 graphics unit under the hood. It also consists of 4 GB RAM and internal storage option of 64 GB, which can be expanded up to 2 TB. On the other hand, OnePlus 3 and the HTC 10 are powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset and 64 GB of 6internal storage with 6 GB and 4 GB RAM respectively.  

Furthermore, the Zenfone 3 and the OnePlus device features a 16-megapixel rear and an 8-megapixel front camera with a tri-LED flash option, four-stop optical image stabilization, Deep Trench Isolation, and 4K video recording. Besides, the HTC 10 sports a 12-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front camera.

As far as the software specs are concerned, the Asus device runs on the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS along with ZenUI skin. The OnePlus and the HTC phone have the slightly older Android 6.0 with Oxygen UI and HTC Sense 8.0 UI respectively. In addition, all the three smartphone sport a huge battery of 3000 mAh capacity that will provide you with around two days of runtime support.

To sum up, the Asus Zenfone 3, the OnePlus 3, and the HTC 10 can be touted to be excellent mid-range phones. But choosing a device amongst the three will depend on your specs requirements.
