"The Originals" Season 4 is expected to be aired soon, and speculations its plot are now circulating on the Internet.

Reports claimed that "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8 airing has an effect on "The Originals" Season 4 plot, especially on the love story of Klaus and Caroline.

During the last episode of "The Vampire Diaries" Season 8, Stefan made a wedding proposal to Caroline and fans were saddened to watch her saying yes. With this, many believed that Caroline (Candice Accola) crossing over to "The Originals" Season 4 to be in the arms of Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan) is hardly possible. However, others are very optimistic that the two will still get together.

It has been said that Mystic Falls have no happy endings, this made others believed that a lot of twists and turns may come to Caroline and Stefan's romance to give "Klaroline" love story a chance in "The Originals" Season 4 as they are the most loved couple.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, the executive producer, Julie Plec has revealed that "The Vampire Diaries" characters will have an appearance in New Orleans soon.

Meanwhile, some rumors suggest that Klaus might be killed in the upcoming season; however, other reports say that the lead character will outlive the show since it is never easy to kill him.

Moreover, speculations state that Hope (Summer Fortana), Klaus' daughter will save his father from the pain while in nightmares due to a curse in the previous season.

According to Julie Plec, Hope will let Klaus see a different side of her.

"This is a girl who has no real memories of her father, so we'll be able to see what Hayley has done, if anything, to keep her aware of her father, who he is, and what the truth is about her life... We'll see a young girl and see where she is with her own abilities. We'll get to see father and daughter eventually reunited, two strangers coming together with so much in common. There's some really special moments between them," Plec told Entertainment Weekly.

Furthermore, it has been said that "The Originals"writer Michael Narducci will play a new villain in the Season 4.

"The Originals" Season 4 is anticipated to return on The CW by 2017.
