Samsung is reportedly delaying the launch of its new phones possibly because of safety assurances, especially after the recent news of the Galaxy J5 explosion in France. Will the Galaxy A7  still see the light of 2017?

As per the leaks, the new Galaxy A7 (2017) will features the similar 5.5'' screen, but with better resolution. The A7 (2016) was appreciated for its huge screen and better processor. There is no visible change expected in the design and body.

Recently, the phone has been spotted on GFXBench and India's import/export tracking website Zauba, hence, we can expect a mid 2017 launch of this updated model.

The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2017) has now been spotted on AnTuTu benchmarking website. The listing reveals a lot of important features like the device is powered by an Exynos 7870 chipset with a better clocking speed at 1.8 GHz.

In terms of storage option, we will be likely to get 32GB and 64GB internal storage unlike the A7 (2016) which has only 16 GB internal space. It will also come with a dedicated microSD slot for expanding memory up to 256GB.

Other specifications revealed by AnTuTu, including full HD display and 3GB RAM. Though, we expect increase in RAM from the previous A7 model, which has also 3GB RAM.

As per the phone's GFXBench listing had revealed, Samsung has decided to follow the trend and cater the selfie lovers with its latest offering that is expected to come with 16MP/16MP camera combo in rear and front positions.

We are yet to see any major differences between the 2016 and upcoming 2017 variants. However, the new A7 will likely be packed with more battery capacity than the previous one.

There are no inputs and leaks regarding the price of this phone, but we expect a similar pricing of the 2016 Samsung Galaxy A7 as rumors have not found new and exciting upgrades.
