With the second season of the popular superhero parody anime "One Punch Man" confirmed, fans will continue to experience more of Saitama's great adventures.

As mentioned by Inquisitr, the confirmation of the second season was announced on a post on the series' official Twitter account. The announcement, in Japanese, only confirms the fact that a second season is in the works, and no other information is revealed.

With its popularity attributed to its distinctive plot, "One Punch Man" Season 2 is expected to feature more battles using Saitama's signature move: one punch. Although there isn't an official release date announcement yet, a number of fans are speculating that the second season will start early next year.

There could also be a rematch of the Saitama and Lord Boros fight, in which the latter has evolved himself to be more powerful and harder to defeat.

The anime adaptation also followed closely and faithfully to its manga counterpart, so fans expect the second season of One Punch Man to tackle the Hero Hunter arc, which features foes that can rival or even exceed Lord Boros's strength. Garou, who has earned the moniker "Human Monster", is the arc's main antagonist.

There are also possibilities of an interesting love story for Saitama despite the difficulties within him, Chatt Sports Net says. The reports say that two siblings will compete for Saitama's affection: Fubuki, the head of a B-class superhero group Blizzard, and her older sister Tatsumaki, an S-class hero who does her job seriously.

Meanwhile, a "One Punch Man" mobile game has been \announced. The app will closely follow the main storyline and will offer a leveling system, but is expected to be more story-based like a visual novel, as playing an action game with a character that can destroy everything with one punch is surely not the best game idea and can be repetitive and meaningless.

Stay tuned for more news and updates regarding the upcoming "One Punch Man" season.
